In our increasingly digitized world, devices such as smartphones and tablets are becoming a part of everyday life for many people. Initial research results indicate that these technologies not only make our lives easier, but also provide vital support in health care. As part of the research project DemTab, a tablet-based intervention is being developed to help sustainably improve outpatient care of people with dementia. In a first step, a qualitative feasibility study will be carried out to test a tablet-based treatment approach in everyday outpatient care. In addition, a tablet-based intervention will be developed and in a randomized control trail tested.
